The Challenge: Modernize without interrupting production
Like many industries, Fischer Frutas operated with a fiberglass dome, a common solution in the past, but which no longer met the energy efficiency, durability and light quality requirements of a modern operation. Furthermore, ineffective ventilation in production areas harmed the comfort of employees and put at risk the freshness and quality of the environment necessary for handling food.
The challenge was clear: to modernize the facilities efficiently, improving lighting, ventilation and energy sustainability, without compromising the pace of production. And, of course, the project will probably live up to the commitment to quality and excellence that defines the Fischer Frutas brand.
The Solution: Retrofit with high-performance products
After a complete diagnosis of needs and opportunities for improvement, Grupo MB developed a retrofit project that brought together technological innovation, execution experience and high-performance sustainable solutions.
1. Replacement of the old domus with Linealight Prismatic Domus
The first step was to replace the old fiberglass domes with the modern Linealight Prismatic Domes, manufactured with high quality and performance polycarbonate. This material stands out for its durability, weather resistance and ability to filter up to 98% of UV rays. With this change, Fischer Frutas now enjoys up to 8 hours of natural light per day, eliminating the need for artificial lighting for much of the day.
Furthermore, Linealight Prismatic Domes offer uniform lighting, even on cloudy days, creating a more pleasant environment for employees and significantly reducing electricity costs.
2. Installation of Lanternim MB for natural ventilation
Ventilation is a critical aspect in production environments, especially in the food sector. To resolve this point, the project included the installation of Lanternim MB, a solution designed to ensure continuous and efficient natural ventilation.
Lanternim MB allows constant air circulation, renewing the environment and helping to maintain controlled temperature. This not only improves employee comfort, but also contributes to preserving product quality, directly reflecting on Fischer Frutas' operational results.
