The challenge: Modernize without interrupting production
Just like many industries, Fischer Frutas operated with fiberglass domes. This solution, although common in the past, does not meet the requirements of energy efficiency, durability and lighting quality necessary for modern operation. Furthermore, ineffective ventilation in production areas affects the comfort of employees and reduces the freshness and quality of the environment necessary for food handling.
Therefore, the aim was clear: modernize the installations efficiently, improving lighting, ventilation and energy sustainability without compromising the pace of production. At the same time, the project should be at the height of the commitment to quality and excellence that defines the Fischer Frutas brand.
The solution: Retrofit with high-performance products
Following a complete diagnosis, Grupo MB developed a retrofit project that combined technological innovation, experience in execution and sustainable, high-performance solutions.
1. Replacing old domes with Domus Prismático Linealight
The first step was to replace the old fiberglass domes with the modern Linealight Prismatic Dome. These are made with high-quality, high-performance polycarbonate, a material that stands out for its durability, resistance to inclement weather and the ability to filter up to 98% of UV rays.
With this change, Fischer Frutas began to enjoy up to 8 hours of natural light a day. This has eliminated the need for artificial lighting for much of the day. Furthermore, the Linealight Prismatic Dome offers uniform illumination, even on cloudy days. As a result, a more pleasant environment for employees was created and electricity costs were significantly reduced

Ventilation is a critical aspect in production environments, especially in the food sector. To resolve this issue, the project included the installation of the MB Lantern. This solution is designed to guarantee continuous and efficient natural ventilation.
Therefore, the Lanternim MB allows constant air circulation, renewing the environment and helping to maintain a controlled temperature. In this way, it improves the comfort of employees, while also contributing to the preservation of the quality of products. Therefore, it has a direct impact on the operating results of Fischer Frutas.
